Hi, I’m having a tummy tuck in 2 weeks. I have thalassemia so I’m used to my hemo being low. It’s currently at 10.5 - what are the standards for thalassemia patients who may always have that low of a count and iron therapy isn’t recommended for thalassemia patients. My surgeon knows I have it and I sent her lab results, I have my pre-op later today but with all the research I’ve done this morning I’m concerned about a delay. I obviously want to be in the beat health possible for surgery
