Does Finasteride cause hot flashes?

I am a male and I have used a low dose of finasteride only two times yet but I do think it causes hot flashes several hours after I took it. Is that possible and if so, what does it mean and is this alone a reason to quit the drug? Thanks!

Finasteride (Propecia) is for men only.  It does not cause birth defects if a man is taking it.  If you are still worried about your perceived risks, stop taking the medication while you are trying to conceive.  More importantly, you should speak to your doctor about these concerns.

It may take up to full year before you see results.   Hair loss from an isolated pull/ traction is not likely permanent.
