Does oil pulling chips off a crown?

I am thinking of starting oil pulling but I have two all ceremic crowns and I have heard that oil pulling chips of crowns. It's been five months since I have them on my teeth. Is this ture? thank you.

Oil pulling can affect composite fillings and dental bonding, but it generally doesn't affect ceramic or gold restorations.  Oil pulling is not very likely to cause your crown to chip; it would be more likely to cause the crown to come off and have to be re-cemented, due to the bonding agent failing.  Of course, this depends upon which bonding agent was used to cement your crown, but ultimately, if your crown were to come off, then you simply need to have it re-cemented by your dentist at little or no cost.  I am not a huge advocate of oil pulling because the science does not seem to be there to back up the reports that some people claim.  Conversely, I have not seen anything medical information that says oil pulling is detrimental to your health. Good luck and I hope this helps. If crowns chip, it is due to other factors and not the oil pulling.  Your crowns will likely be fine, and if not it is good to fix them early.  The real question is what you hope to gain from oil pulling.
