Two fell out the tooth is factured to gum line I'm prepared to have a bridge fitted as cheaply as possible so I can smile and get back to the way I used to be.
Answer: Two teeth cracked and fell out... It is unfortunate that your two crowns fractured and fell out. If they truly fractured to the gum line, you will likely need the roots removed and then a bridge or implants placed. I recommend consulting a cosmetic dentist soon, so that if there is a possibility to place a post and core in the fractured teeth, they could be saved. If you continue to wait, they will certainly be lost. Good luck and I hope this helps. Follow me if you have more questions.Sarah Thompson, DMD

Answer: What are my options to regain my smile? The immediate option would be to assess how much tooth structure is left of the fractured teeth. If it’s to the gum line there is a possibility of extending some of the tooth structure by building it up or undergoing gum surgery to expose more of the tooth. After which, this can be re-crowned once either new posts or cores are put in. If the crown that fell out and the tooth structure remaining is un-restorable or if there is decay underneath that does not allow the tooth to be built up. Then the other option is to have to tooth out, let it heal, and look at restoring the two areas with implants.Bridge work is another option but you do require teeth on either side to get a bridge constructed. This can often mean grinding teeth unnecessarily. This is often a last resort in terms of giving fixed options for restoring the teeth.

Answer: Tooth broken off at gumline...how can I get back my smile? You don't really give enough information to give you a well thought out opinion. However, usually when one or two front teeth are broken and unrestorable and need to be removed (extracted) your choices are: fixed bridgework, dental implants with crowns or removable partial denture. You mention "as cheaply as possible", then a "maxillary flipper" (upper removable partial denture) would fit that criteria. As far as "the best", then if two teeth are missing, dental implants would my recommendation. If only one tooth needs to be removed, then either a dental implant or fixed bridge. However, neither of those two choices "are cheap", as much time, effort, and lab expenses are involved.
