Had 20 treatments of laser hair removal on my scalp. Now I'm very patchy/bald. It looks very unatural and irregular. I have become very depressed and anti social because of it. Is there anything I can do to return to a normal looking state? Will PRP help or any other treatment ? The laser was yag
Answer: PRP It would be best for you to have an in-person evaluation by your Dermatologist to determine best option moving forward but keep in mind not every office offers PRP. Be sure to be seen by a Board Certified Dermatologist.

Answer: Difficult question This is a very difficult question to answer as it depends greatly on your ethnic background, your genetic variation, if you have any anomalies with your blood (such as sickle cell anemia or thrombocytopenia), and if the PRP is injected straight into your scalp or if it is introduced after micro needling with or without radio frequency. No matter what you chose to do, I strongly recommend you speak with your primary care physician about your depressed and anti-social feelings. I hope you feel better soon

Answer: Not Likely... Thanks for your question. I know this can be very upsetting to not get your desired results. We don't offer PRP services so we can't tell you for certain that it won't work, but it is unlikely. We have a very athletic, high metabolism, African-American male patient seeking LHR of his scalp. We have treated him more than 20 times with our Vectus diode laser. We tried our normal protocols, but they had a very patchy effects on this very healthy male. We found treating every 2 to 2.5 weeks made a big difference. We think our patient just has a very high testosterone level. Luckily, his schedule allows him to drop in often for a 10 minute treatment. He will probably end up with 25-30 treatments. He bought a package of 6; we have covered the rest. I hope this helps.
