Breasts have grown back again after 2 surgeries. Is this normal?

I had a full reduction in 2016 and they started to grow back after a few months. Almost a year to the day of my first surgery I had another where I had fat liposuctioned and also was cut around the nipples again and straight down. Almost two years later and I am popping out of a 36DDD bra. I’m having more back pain. I successfully lost 20 lbs. this winter and it didn’t make any difference in my chest size. I weigh about 147 now. I take a very low dose birth control pill.

Hormone fluctuations, significant weight gain from pregnancies and breastfeeding can cause breasts to grow back after a BR.  If you liked the results from your two other breast reductions, return to that surgeon(s) for advice about undergoing another full breast reduction or reduction with a second lipo.  Otherwise, you will need the operative report from the first procedure to take with you to a consultation with a different board certified plastic surgeon to lessen the risks of jeopardizing the nipple.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
