My eyebrows are naturally very high, so are there any procedures other than brow lifts that will correct lateral hooding without raising my eyebrows even higher? I didn't have this issue until after I had an upper bleph with extended incisions (about 1/2 inch past the outer corner) and mainly it's just the left eye.

Answer: Lateral Hooding Lateral hooding may be a result of brow position, redundant skin or lacrimal gland droop. A thorough exam is required to determine the best approach to a solution

Answer: Which procedures address lateral hooding of the eyes? Hooding is most often addressed either by removal of a very small amount of extra skin that is creating the hood or conservative elevation of the outer part of the eyebrow. It is not possible to make a specific recommendation without meeting you or at least seeing photos of the area that concerns you. Ideally, you can discuss with your original eyelid surgeon as they know your history better than any other surgeon. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
