Can LED red light/infrared light masks produce hyperpigmentation in Asian skin?

For at home LED light masks, have you seen whether LED red light and near infrared light masks produce hyperpigmentation or melasma in skin of color eg Asian skin? Can you use retin A and use an LED and NIR mask?
