Radiesse will neither spread nor expand. I recommend that you wait until the swelling and bruising have subsided and revisit your concerns with your injector. If replacement of lost facial volume is your goal, something like Sculptra or Voluma may be more beneficial.
Hello there,Thank you for your question. As I can see swelling and bruising still, your final result is not visible yet. It usually takes about 2 weeks for the swelling to decrease and up to 4 weeks for full results. If you're still not happy with the hollowness in the cheeks, I recommend discussing Sculptra or Fat Grafting with your provider. Please make sure he or she is a board-certified physician with extensive experience in the treatments. Hope this helps. All the best,Carlos Mata, MD, MBA, FACSBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Radiesse doesn't move or migrate. Swelling can be typical and can last 1-2 weeks after injections. If you remain concerned about your results, I recommend following up with your Doctor. In the mean time, venus legacy treatments may help reduce swelling. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Radiesse would be an excellent option to volumize your cheeks but it does not "spread" beyond injection points. I would recommend follow-up with your injector to express your concerns so that additional treatments can be done.
Radiesse is an excellent filler to volumize your face and it does not move or fall. Be sure you see a board certified dermatologist who is experienced in its use
No, Radiesse typically stays right where you inject it. It is unique compared to the hyaluronic acid fillers in that the vehicle (paste) that is injected lasts about 3 months, but stimulates neocollagenesis that then lasts 12-18 months. Only very experienced injectors should inject Radiesse because it is not reversible with an enzyme like the hyaluronic acid fillers and because it lasts so long and can't be "massaged" away. It is a fantastic dermal filler. I would speak to your injector about your concerns. Best regards.
Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of...
Yes, Radiesse develops collagen and helps the skin improve volume and texture. Radiesse results last 12-15 months. The "collagen" production is long term but this is more in the aspect of younger looking skin and not "growth" of the skin itself unless you do a significant amount of produ...
