I am 5'1" and weigh 106 pounds. How much extra weight do I need to gain in order to ensure there is enough fat to correct breast rippling and contouring in one breast post breast reconstruction? I know most women are adverse to gaining weight but to me having rippling medially is worse than adding a few extra pounds. Any advice would be appreciated.

I generally don't recommend ice for breast patients as the implant is so far from the skin surface it does little good nor is it helpful after the point of maximum swelling, after the first 3 days.Discuss this with your surgeon and follow his directions!#iceaftersurgery#breastaugmentation#BA
I have been extremely unimpressed with the results of fat transfer to the breasts. Even the best results I've seen published in journals are lousy at best. Take a look at the website of surgeons who promote this procedure and see what the results look like in two years, if you can...
Fat grafting to the breasts can produce increases of 1 cup size or so. Breast implants are probably better for larger augmentations.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
