Filler is sore 3 months later. Is this normal? How should I treat it?

Hi, I received filler in my chin about three month ago. Last night I was icing my face and I forgot that I had filler in my chin. I thought I was feeling the beginning of a new pimple, so I iced my chin aggressively and looking back now I realized I was icing and aggressively moving around my filler. I woke the morning to my chin very swollen to the touch. Is this normal/how should I treat it? Thank you

Three months after filler injections, one wouldn’t expect the area to be sore and sensitive. If you are having some tenderness, you should go back to see your provider. You may be developing a hypersensitivity reaction. You should have them check the area out, you may need some antibiotics or a hyaluronidase injection.
