I would begin with the Kareskin Body Brightening Kit with Exfolase, Luminase, and Melapads followed by clear and brilliant lasers with light chemical peels. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
These scars can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your photos. Based on your photo, you could benefit from laser skin resurfacing which stimulates your body to fill in under the scars with collagen. You could also try injectable fillers to raise the scars and give your skin a smooth appearance. Hypertrophic scars can be treated with steroid injections that will diminish their appearance. It is always best to seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
Thanks for your question and posting pictures. The dark spot look like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). After a personal consultation, we would probably recommend the PicoSure Laser with the FOCUS and/or Flat Lens for pigment correction. The FOCUS lens also works well on scar reduction. PicoSure is safe for all skin types. Depending on the severity of the pigment, it will probably take 1 to 4 treatments. Best of luck.
