Always ask your plastic surgeon about specific activities and when they can be resumed after surgery. After six weeks of uncomplicated healing, you should be able to resume your exercise program. I would take it easy initially to not overdo the very intense bouts of exercise. I liken twerking to squats and lunges in the gym. You will increase muscle bulk and definition, which is probably a good thing if you are looking to achieve a more projected, lifted buttock. Great question! One rule of thumb I use with all my patients regardless of their procedure is to listen to their body. If it hurts then don't do it. When it doesn't hurt then it's probably OK.
I tell my patients to wait about 6 weeks before they do anything strenuous. I have never twerked but it looks pretty strenuous to me. So I would recommend waiting about 6 weeks. Of course, follow the instructions of your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.I hope this helps!Good luck and happy twerking! :)
That is a pretty funny question and deserves a funny answer. I would start slowly and begin with a more geriatric pace and work your way up..... In all seriousness, I would not do anything that tweaks your gluteus maximus for at least 6 weeks.
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Certainly, one of the advantages of a BBL is that you can get a "new and improved twerking booty!" LOL But in all seriousness, we reocmmend that you refrain from sitting directly on your buttocks for 2 weeks, and refrain from cardio for 3 weeks. So, you can likely resume twerking (albeit at a reduced effort / intensity) at 3 weeks). Of course, you will need an in-person consultation toevaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgicalsimulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest thatyou find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Besure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting withyour surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients who have hadsimilar procedures.
