Is my swelling going to get any worse? I'm 5 days post op ab lipo. (photo)

Question

After walking around working all day my vagina gets so swollen. Today was by far the worst as it has moved now down to my thighs. Is this a good or bad thing? Normal? Should I be worried? Should I expect it to get any worse?

Everyone responds differently, and the  majority of your swelling will likely go away in about 6-8 weeks, but you should expect that it might take 4-6 months longer for the swelling to subside. In some individuals it can take longer.

Swelling and edema after liposuction usually begin to decrease after 10 days and may disappear approximately 3 months. No need to worry. Your plastic surgeon will help you if you consult. Regards.

Hello dear, thanks for your post and provided information and pictures as well. Every patient is different, some of them gets more swollen or less swollen. But will depend on how much compression you are using. I recommend your to ask to your PS what can you wear and use for the swelling.Good luck
