At-home microneedling (dermapen) getting stuck while moving, any suggestions?

I have a dermanpen that i recently started to use at home. How ever i can't seem to move the pen in flawless motions horizontal and vertical around my temple area. Thats also where i have the most of my acne scars. I am using between 2.0mm - 2.5mm at the area.

That is a deep depth for microneedling at home.  I would suggest decreasing the depth and using a hyrdating serum that allows for some slip or glide of the microneedling pen.  Keep in mind that you can cause additional scaring to the area if not done properly.  I would suggest seeking the advice and treatment of an esthetician in a medical setting that can provide the proper treatment plan with depth, products, and post treatment care necessary for the most optimal results.
