Does this look like a normal recovery? Had a mini lift and rhinoplasty Jan 22nd, What is this, why is there discharge?

by Thursday night my ears where red, inflamed, and burning. Called Friday morning,, asked me to send pictures. He suggested I start on gentammicin. Later Friday sent pics, said I thought I was having an allergic reaction, he told me to start cortisone ointment. On Saturday pain was less, looked a bit better but still had redness, burning and yellow discharge. Sent more pics Saturday afternoon, asked if I should go to the quick doc, he said it is serum and normal wound exudate and not to worry,

Providing that your condition is stable and that you are not under significant imunosupressive therapy you do not seem to have any reason not to have face lift. However, communication and coordination between your surgeon and gastroenterologist is recommended. Good luck.

I strongly advise that you contact your Plastic Surgeon and abide by his/her guidelines for post-op exercise, however, in my practice, I am comfortable with very light cardio (walking) 2 weeks post procedure.
