Normal healing or necrosis? (Photos)

Question

It looks like there are some dark spots around the nipple incision. I have feeling in both nipples. Is this normal healing or necrosis? My post op appt is in 5 days. Breast lift no implants done 4 days ago.

Based on these pictures it is difficult to tell, but from what I can see you seem to be healing well follow up with your PS to discuss your concerns.Best wishes.

Your incisions, nipple and areola look normal for this stage after surgery per your photos. If you have concerns, contact your surgeon for an in person exam.

Thank you for your question. From looking at your photos it appears that your incisions are healing normally and there is no evidence of necrosis. Online advice is not a substitute for an in-person examination however, and if you have any concerns about your recovery I suggest you make an in-person appointment with you family doctor. All the best.
