I got cheek implants with a facelift last April, all my swelling is down except for my left side. It has not changed size in months! Starting to worry and wondering can it be capsular contracture or permanent? If it can be fixed will it always look a little bit off or different? This is very scary and my husband thinks it's permanent. What can it be? Can it be corrected back to normal?

It would be very difficult to give you good advise without in person evaluation. It can be a small seroma around implant, implant displacement, rotation, etc. CT scan may be the way to check position of the implant? Discussion with your surgeon is best way to proceed with fixing the problem. Good luck.

Based upon the series of posed photos your cheek implants show significant asymmetry. I would order an ultrasound examination of both cheeks to compare if implant slipped or was placed in different position vs fluid/scar collections. After that examine and in person evaluation then a surgical plan can be determined.
