It is possible, but it needs planning. Body and beard hair can be transplanted into a depleted donor area, and I do this for patients who have limited scalp donor hair. The challenge is that scalp micropigmentation over scars changes how the area looks and can complicate the placement of new grafts, because the pigment sits in the dermis where the grafts will be inserted. The pigment does not stop hair from growing, but the incision sites should be placed carefully so the grafts are not placed directly through dense pigment.
Also keep in mind that body and beard hair have a different growth cycle, a shorter length and a different texture than scalp hair, so results in a donor area are usually modest and best used to add density or soften scars, rather than to fully restore thickness. Scar tissue also has reduced blood supply, so growth in scars can be lower than in healthy skin, and I recommend a small test area first. An in person evaluation can tell you how much body and beard donor you have available.
