I had a bilateral mastopexy with small reduction almost 2 weeks ago. My nipples are uneven, and deformed. (One is "almost" round and the other one is totally deformed, wrinkled and smaller). The stitching is also tighter in some areas around the nipples and uneven (poor craftmanship). I look like Frankenstein!!! Can this be corrected?
Answer: Breast reduction
At only two weeks post op, it is still too early to tell how the nipple areola complex will look after it has fully healed. It is very common for the nipple to look like it has been pulled tightly, almost like a purse string, during the first few weeks after surgery. As surgeons, we tend to suture the nipple complex into place slightly on the tighter side so that when it heals and settles out, it looks just right. It is also common to notice temporary asymmetries from side to side in the beginning as you heal.

Answer: The areola can look distorted due to swelling for weeks after breast reduction.
It's too early to make a pronouncement about the ultimate shape of your areola. Swelling can distort them. You need to allow swelling to subside before becoming critical.

Answer: Breast Lift Revision
At just two weeks after surgery it is way to early to consider revision. My suggestion would be to work closely with your surgeon using non-invasive products such as silicone strips, topical products, laser, etc to maximize healing. If, after several months, a minor touch up is required, I would hope that your surgeon will be more than accommodating. Without before and after pictures, it really is difficult to comment specifically on your case.
Good Luck.

Answer: Too early to tell...
I am sorry you are unhappy with your results so far. It would be a big mistake to perform any surgery at this point. You need to wait at least a few months. With time the swelling will decrease and many of you issues will likely decrease as well. It is normal for variability in the nipples in the early postop period.
