Tear drop fillers and a thread lift done 8 days ago . Is severe bruising and having my face still swollen and lumpy normal?

I would say that it is not typical, but certainly possible.  I prefer to use cannulas to inject into the tear trough area.  Most likely a needle was used, which leads to potential bruising and swelling.  It could be another week or two until this resolves.
