I had lip filler done for the first time recently and it went horribly. All the filler ended up above my lip even though I went to a well know and reputable place. We have tried to dissolve it 3 times now (we used an entire bottle twice and once used 2). For some reason I still have a lot of fullness above my lip and my lip (above the actual lip)now has a thick white line that doesn’t do away. I believe it’s still remaining filler while the injector doesn’t believe it is. Please see photos

It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
