Can Propecia change your face shape? Jawline, some collegen, etc

Question

Hello I made HT last year. The result is fantastic, however I'm afraid to lose the results. Im 30 yo. Took 1mg of finasteride 4 months. Is it possible that my jawline could become weaker? Is it possible that it make the face less masculine? I read some reports on websites and don't know what to think. What do you think about .25? Thank you

Hi, How are you? No, Finasteride or Propecia will not change your facial shape or Jawline. If you have any questions I would suggest reaching out to your Dr.  Sometimes the worst thing to do is read online because a lot of the things posted are in fact wrong information. The side effects of Propecia are very small but it has nothing to do with the facial change.

there are no scientific studies that Show Propecia creates a weaker jawline. I have also never seen propecia have this affect in my own patients.  If you’re concerned about your Jawline please consult a board-certified facial plastic surgeon.  You have both non-surgical and surgical options that can help create the look that you desire. No, finasteride (Propecia) can not make changes in your collagen and therefore it can not change your facial features
