I had a rhinoplasty 7 weeks ago and after the op I thought that everything is going well. The last 6 days I have noticed a smell like a dead animal. And my nose looks thick and burning pain just out of the blue. I have also noticed that it looks crooked and my nostrals are so not the same. One is long and thin and the other is round. I am devestated as this was my second one because the first failed and now I feel like this one failed too. I am afraid that something really wrong is happening

Thank you for the question and your photos. It looks like your nostrils are poorly supported. This is likely related to the shape, size, and orientation of the tip cartilages. In some cases, the wings of the tip cartilages have been shortened too aggressively, making the nostril tissues appear...
I rarely use columellar struts because of the problems patients have with these grafts. There are other approaches to fix columellar position and tip projection. I recommend you see an experienced revision rhinoplasty specialist.
You will have swelling still and this includes over your bridge. 5 weeks is early after a rhinoplasty. I would expect your bridge to lower with time so you may get the slope you want. Please wait for a year to see your final result.
