I can understand how frustrating it must feel when you’ve tried so many treatments—like hydroquinone, kojic acid, tretinoin, peels, microneedling, and subcision—yet the scar still hasn’t improved the way you’d hoped. The fact that sun exposure makes the pigmentation more pronounced tells me strict sun protection will also be a key part of improving the appearance, as UV tends to darken scars.

So, while the products you’ve been recommended may be a good supportive step, the scar likely requires more targeted procedural treatment if you’re aiming for significant improvement.
