After the ban of the blue pigment 15:3 in the EU due to the potential harmful and carcinogenic effects of tattoos with this pigment under ultraviolet light, is the use of lasers to remove tattoos of this color discouraged? I have a small fine line tattoo, made with one of the inks banned for this reason, and I want to have it removed because I feel uneasy having that ink on my skin, but I don't know if the only safe method in my case anymore be the surgical excision. Is it safe?
