Elevating a droopy nasal tip: elevation of a”droopy” tip involves rotation procedures of a mechanical nature supporting the tip and columella complex on to the caudal septum or the addition of various types of grafts , and various other mechanical procedures which support and rotate the tip . cutting the muscle is a minor factor in Droopy Nasal tips.

Hello, there are many reasons for nasal tip drooping in today's rhinoplasty surgery. however, the effect of the depressor septi muscle on nasal tip drooping is negligible. We do not use cutting the depressor septi muscle in the techniques we currently apply. If we cut the nose tip that you think of as logic, the tip of the nose will go up. However, since there is no muscle that pulls the tip of the nose upwards, cutting the muscle that pulls it downwards will not work. However, the most basic feature that you overlook is Gravity. If the nose tip support is not put strong after rhinoplasty surgeries, the tip of the nose moves downwards and falls due to gravity in the following years. What needs to be done here is to obtain a solid and supported nose tip by making surgical correction. I don't think you will benefit from just cutting the depressor septi muscle.

Since this requires opening the nose again, it is considered a revision rhinoplasty case. I recommend you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Also, a non-surgical option is injecting Botox into the depressor septi muscle to simulate it being weakened/cut.
