I got this scar around 8 years ago from a second degree burn and it’s something Ive been insecure of ever since but have no clue exactly what to do to get rid of it or at least minimize it to a point where it isn’t as noticeable . My scar is hypertrophic for sure which is even worse. The scar is on my thigh

Intralesional injections of anti-inflammatory agents is the mainstay treatment for flattening hypertrophic scars from all causes. Following this, professionally performed manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) can be employed to better blend the treated areas in superficial color and texture with the surrounding normal skin.
