I have ice pick and boxcar scarring. I have had several Microneedling and Chemical Peel sessions for them and nothing has worked. I am beginning to lose hope. Many dermatologists and estheticians in Texas do not know much about scarring and only offer micro needling, chemical peels and skincare products that do not help. I need to find an expert dermatologist who can help me.

You would be wise to seek out a board certified cosmetic dermatologist scar treatment expert. Subcision, which I have been performing since 1995 is an excellent, relatively inexpensive, minimally invasive technique for elevating and smoothing boxcar and rolling scars. TCA CROSS, which I have been using for nearly twenty-four years is another simple, and relatively inexpensive treatment for ice pick scars. Both treatments have an excellent record of safety and efficacy in all skin types. Microneedling is best reserved for a final "polishing" step for blending very superficial, residual color and textural irregularities and superficial peels are best reserved for general texture issues and had little chance to be helpful for boxcar, rolling or ice pick scars. Sorry. It's time you sought out a real scar treatment specialist. Best of luck.
