VBeam vs IPL for rosacea if patient also has seborrheic dermatitis and gets cold sores?

I’d like to treat the redness of rosacea without exacerbating Seborrheic Dermatitis or inducing cold sores all over my face. Is there a laser, ipl or other photodynamic treatment that would be appropriate? Is there a NYC dermatologist who has performed this safely without complications?
