Normally, I ask my doctor for a tretinoin prescription and I pick it up at the pharmacy (Tretinoin Gel in a silver tube .05%). This time a new dermatologist recommended that I purchase from her line of retin-A products (available in her office for a way better price). I switched to a .05 cream RA from her own line. But, I am worried that her own line is not as effective as the one from the pharmacy. Is there a difference in efficacy between pharmacy-filled Retin-A and Retin-A made by my derm?
