I'm sorry you still have bruising this far out. Have you seen your surgeon about this to see if there is a small hematoma (blood collection) that needs to be aspirated? It is not uncommon to have bruising around the eyes following blepharoplasty, but it is typically gone in a few weeks. Of course, certain medications and medical conditions can make you more prone to bruising. I tell all of my patients to use topical Arnica Montana, which is a natural over the counter gel, the moment that they see a bruise forming. It helps with swelling as well and gets rid of the bruising many days prior to not using anything at all. You can buy sublingual tablets as well. Pineapple tablets, which contain bromelain, can be used to both prevent bruising and help speed the resorption process. Bromelain is also found in papaya and fresh pineapple, though it is most concentrated in the pineapple core. I think you are beyond the aid of cool compresses at two months. In patients that have persistent bruising in my practice, I often zap them with an IPL machine to help break up the bruising and speed resorption (often in a matter of 1-2 days). Some lasers are great for bruising as well. I sure there are doctors in your area that have such technology. In terms of covering bruises, I recommend a makeup called dermablend. It conceals things quite naturally and nicely. Again, though, I would make sure that you don't have something like a small hematoma first by going to your surgeon for an evaluation. I wish you the best!
