Should I get SculpSure or lipo for 360 degree arm fat?

Question

I have arm fat entire area (360 degree) including shoulder on my arm. I am not fat person. My body fat is about 25-26% and pretty muscular too. I am considering either whole arm lipo which dr Su can provide, or few treatment for Sculpt sure. I know sculpsure works for bat wing, but is it also good for the area where fat is pretty tight?( top of shoulders) and inner part of arm where is so soft with lot of veins which most of doctor can’t perform lipo(except dr su. )

Both liposuction and SculpSure can successfully remove fat from the upper arm and achieve great results; determining which is right for you will depend on your body, expectations, and preferences.   SculpSure is a non-invasive procedure that uses laser energy to heat and permanently destroy fat cells in a targeted area. Most patients will have multiple SculpSure treatments and should allow for up to 12 weeks to see the final results of the procedure (results are gradual, showing as early as 6 weeks and continuing to get better through 12 weeks while the body destroys the fat cells).  A SculpSure treatment takes only 25 minutes and there is no downtime so you can resume normal activities directly following a treatment.  For someone who has a small area of fat that won't seem to budge despite exercise and diet and is willing to wait to see results, SculpSure can be a great option.Liposuction, on the other hand, is a surgical procedure during which larger areas of unwanted fat can be removed, with results that are both immediate and permanent, and only a few days of downtime for recovery.  Today, many patients opt for laser liposuction because it allows you to achieve some skin tightening in the area where the fat has been removed, greatly improving the appearance of the treated area.   Since liposuction/Laser lipo can be used on larger areas of the body, it is a good option for someone who has greater areas of fat and is looking for immediate results.  A consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help you to determine which procedure is best for you.

SculpSure can work for arm fat but again it depends on your expectations and what results you are needing.  Lipo can give you more definition but SculpSure can be more even reduction but more subtle.  Get a few consultations and then that should help.  Good luck!

Hi,
Sculpsure would probably not work to your satisfaction on circumferential arm fat.
As previously mentioned it works best over the triceps region. The good news is that there
are several options that do work well for what you need.

I personally have not seen satisfying results with Sculpsure for the arms. 
In my opinion Lipo works best for the arms.

Smartlipo is always going to be more aggressive than Sculpsure. In addition, for the upper arms, the paddles for Sculpsure can only be applied over the triceps region. You may want to consider something I am doing now, in select cases, High Definition Smartlipo. This always more to do a circumferential Smartlipo to bring out higher definition of than even traditional Smartlipo.david berman md
