PRP does not work on areas that are completely bald. Your are correct, to date we do not have a cure for hair loss.  We have great treatments to slow the progression.  Minoxidil is our baseline treatment as it keeps hair in the growing phase.  PRP is a great adjunct, as it provides nutrients to the hair follicles.  Because there is not a cure, you will need to continue these treatments as maintenance.  Minoxidil is recommended daily to twice a day.  Three-4 PRP treatments are needed initially and then maintenance treatments approximately 6 months apart will be needed.  These nonsurgical treatments will help sustain your hair.  Later, a transplant may be needed.

PRP and Rogaine and Propecia are an excellent way to thicken hair and maintain volume.
