Where is Profhilo in the US/Canada? Why is it not here yet?

When is Profhilo coming to the US and/or Canada? Why is it not here yet? Where is the best place in Europe for injections and who is skilled at injecting around the forehead? I know that is not the protocol, but I know some in the UK have injected around the forehead with good results. Info anyone? Thank you very much for your responses.

Marenne  You are certainly ahead of the curve! Prophila is a type of hyaluronic acid that is injected in small quantities just under the skin, however it is not used as a filler. The manufacturer contends that it helps build collagen and improve the quality of your skin. I have not come across any valid scientific studies that demonstrate this to be true,  and as you know, it is not yet approved by the FDA. I would recommend traditional skin care regimen utilizing moisturizers and if needed, fillers for troublesome areas. Also, Retin-A used judiciously and under the care of a physician, has shown to increase quality and quantity of collagen in the skin with use on a regular basis. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist in our area to explore these possibilities. Good luck.

It is just another hyaluronic acid filler which has not been evaluated by the FDA or has received an FDA approval. it is not better than the products that we currently have available here in the US. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City

In Europe Prophilo is used as a HA filler to improve collagen and texture of the skin ..it has not reached US due to insufficient evidence of its results
