1 week post-op Necktite doesn’t look good. It looks like I have a larger double chin then before. Do I need a lift afterwards? (

Thanks for your question and pictures.  It is far to soon to make any comment on your results.  There can certainly be significant swelling for weeks after a procedure like Necktite.  It is usually the combination of tumescent fluid that was injected into the tissue and the trauma from the liposuction (if done) and the energy from the Necktite system itself that causes the swelling.  You are very early in the healing process.  The swelling should improve greatly over the next few weeks then the skin should continue to tighten and improve in appearance for the next several months.
I rarely if ever have to perform an excision after Necktite.  A big part of this is picking the correct patients for the procedure in the first place.  
As difficult as it can be to be patient be assured that your results at this point are completely normal.  Make sure you follow up with your surgeon and follow the instructions given to you.

Hello. Great question. Unfortunately, you were too early to have noticeable results. For Bodytite, there is bruising and swelling involved post op. There will be more swelling if you got liposuction done at the same time. Therefore; due to the swelling it might seem that there is no difference from original state of skin. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. If concerns persist, please contact a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination.
