I have been an on-and-off nailbiter my whole life. I'm considering veneers and am trying to convince myself of other positives apart from plain-old vanity, since my natural teeth are absolutely fine and on the whiter side and I basically just want that "Hollywood Smile" that can only be achieved artificially. So I'm wondering... Will veneers prevent me from being able to bite my nails? 'Cause that would be awesome...

Based on the photos, you appear to be a good candidate for veneers. You can get two veneers to make your lateral incisors longer and bigger or six veneers to create more harmony and symmetry when you smile. Six veneers will also improve the color of your teeth.
