Are the results of Morpheus8 permanent or do the treatments need to be continued yearly?

Morpheus should be done every 2-3 months to keep skin higher and healthy. We combine with lasers, peels, and skin care to get more collagen production.  This is done to prevent aging and slow it down.For facial rejuvenation,  I would suggest a combination approach of

2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors
3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium
4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill
5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting
6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest
7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skin

Morpheus8 is a fantastic minimally invasive treatment for facial rejuvenation.  Our patients start with a series of 3 treatments for optimal results.  With any treatment for facial rejuvenation, patients still continue to experience the signs of aging, so maintenance is required.  If a patient is practicing sun precautions and following a good at home regimen, less maintenance will be needed.  Most patients can expect to retreat every 12-24 months.

Hi there.  At Monroe Comprehensive Laser Center in Monroe, Mi, Dr. Katz uses Morpheus daily to help rejuvenate and tighten skin and muscle.  Morpheus is great because it penetrates deeply enough to send that radiofrequency energy just where it needs to be to induce collagen production, tighten muscle, tighten skin, and even get rid of a little bit of fat.  We have seen results last a year and a half or more.   However, like with every skin procedure, the results are dependent on a team approach between doctor and patient.  You need to keep up a healthy skin regimen, avoid excess sun exposure, eat a health diet, not change you weight significantly, etc.  All of these factors can effect your final results and how long they last.  Hope this helps!

Hello and thank you for your question! Unfortunately, as with any skin rejuvenation treatment, maintenance is required to continue to see the benefits over time. Results typically last several months to a year depending on your age. Morpheus 8 penetrates deep into the subdermal adipose tissue creating smoother and fuller skin. Combining Morpheus 8 with other treatments such as PRP, fillers, and of course a daily skin care regimen with quality products will provide more satisfying results. 

It is recommended that you do Morpheus initially in a package of several treatments to get a huge change in your skin with collagen rejuvenation. Even with surgery, the minute you recover from treatment the clocks continues ticking and to maintain any results you'll need some maintenance. It is sometimes best to alternate treatment modalities and do IPL on alternate years. Of course, best results are achieved in combination therapies, a bit of fillers, botulinum, Morpheus, IPL and great skin care products.
