Can you tell if Latisse is beginning to cause ‘sunken eyes’ before it progresses? Is this more likely in older women?

I am considering using Latisse, but after getting ptosis from Botox, I am nervous. I’m 68. Is there a way to measure or assess your eyes so you can tell if they are becoming sunken before it gets bad? Do they return to normal? Is this side effect more likely with older age or with any other characteristic, such as skin or eye coloring?

Thank you for your question! The only reason why eyelash serums like Latisse and Revitalash have that risk listed is because one of the ingredients is the same as glaucoma eye drops which have been known to cause color change in light colored eyes.  The ingredient is so low on the list of the ...

Thank you for your question.  Petroleum Jelly is not safe to put on your eyelashes. There is no clinical benefit and should be avoided.

Yes, that is correct. Usually after 4-8 months patients have as good of results as they are going to get. However, they can then maintain it as well.
