Is it possible for Restylane to cause bigger pores?

I got my cheeks with restylane for a smoother skin. The same day after the procedure I noticed that the enlarged pores I have, one of them appears suddenly much bigger? How is this possible? Will it shrink, will it go away?

Swelling is a common side effect of lip injections and can last approx. 2 weeks. You are doing the right thing by applying cold compresses, 10 mins several times a day. Sleep with your head slightly elevated. If you have further concerns visit your injector to be assessed. All the best,

I took Ibuprofen on Monday due to a bad headache, does that mean that I should out it off for a week or two for Restylane?

I always advise my patients to avoid ASA and ibuprofen for a week - 10 days prior to an injectable treatment. You could possibly bruise despite the ibuprofen. I would leave a week between injections and an event in case of possible bruising or inflammation. Best of Luck.
