How can I fix indentation from steroid injection? (Photo)

I had gotten a steroid injection below my chin from a build up of tissue on the end of my scar (from Chin reduction) about 2 months ago. I started to notice an indent on each side of my chin/scar. How can I fix this ? Will the indent go away? Can I fix this with fat transfer? I want it to be permanent. I want it to be a smooth surface.

You may have some atrophy of the tissue following steroid injection.  However, since it is at the end of the scar, if may also just be an indentation resulting from the edge of the scar.  I would try some massaging and giving it some more time.

If the indentation persists, you may benefit from fat transfer to help push the indentation back out.  You may require multiple sessions of fat transfer to correct any contour deficits.  You don't want to over do the fat transfer and end up with an area of fullness.

The steroid injections induced subcutaneous atrophy...You may have it corrected with fat or any of the biocompatible dermal or subcutaneous  fillers. It may be technique dependent in as much as a release of the scar under the dimples prior to the filling of the depressions may be performed for a good result...
