I noticed that my head is very oddly shaped ..in the back it's completely flat and it slopes all the way up like a "cone head" and I was trying to figure out what procedures could help fill out my forehead ..since I can't really do anything about the shape of my skull ...unless there's a procedure to fix that too????
Answer: Forehead slope can be straightened! Onlay cranioplasty via bicoronal forehead lift incision (hidden entirely within the hair, which does not have to be shaved) can straighten your forehead. Any ABPS-certified plastic surgeon should have the basic craniofacial skills to perform cranioplasty using methylmethacrylate as an onlay material, securing it while not yet hardened to titanium screws protruding from the outer table of the skull. Contouring with bone burs can yield the final desired shape. Best wishes! Dr. Tholen

Answer: Fat grafting can be performed to shape your forehead Hello Gambe712, thank you for sharing your photos. In my practice, I perform a lot of fat grafting procedures to shape/ augment the forehead. It is very effective, but it may require more than one session for the best result. You are very attractive as is, and undergoing craniofacial surgery or placement of a forehead implant seems a bit excessive and risky. Fat grafting is a much smaller procedure and the recovery is a lot faster. Hope that helps. Goretti H. Taghva MD

Answer: Changing the Shape of the Forehead Unfortunately, there are not good procedures to change the shape and slope of the forehead. The good news is that your are very pretty. I would not suggest an implant in that area.I hope this helps.

Answer: The Shape of Your Head Thank you for sharing your case and photos. First off, you look fantastic. I'm not sure much can be done to address your concerns, but you may want to schedule a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to discuss your goals. Good luck!

Answer: Forehead and Skull Augmentation The back of the head (occiput) can be built out to a rounder fuller shape by the insertion of a custom made skull implant. The front of the skull (forehead) can be treated similarly with a custom forehead implant or the placement of bone cement. Both skull areas can be successfully augmented and recontoured.
