How much fat is reabsorbed at the hips after BBL?

For most of my patients, I tell them that at 6 weeks there is still a great deal of swelling in the abdomen, sides, and back (or wherever the liposuction was performed);  and they will only look better in 6 months. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to 6 months to see your final results, so please be patient. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. One week is still very early to determine the final outcome. Six months is a better mark since swelling will have gone down at that point but not completely. Best of luck!
