Can someone please explain what happens to weakened muscles as botox wears off. I've had bad headaches after botox.

I'm worried when it starts to wear off if my muscles will now be too tight causing worse headaches.I'm currently 4 weeks post op. This is my first treatment. 15 units in 11 lines and 15 in forehead.

Thank you for your question. Botox is indicated for 3 month by the FDA. There may be residual efects for months after the treatment, until the muscle returns to form, but the msucle recovers, just like an arm muscle after a cast is removed. I hope this helps!
