Can Botox in the jawline permanently change your face?

Question

had botox in my jaw.It was like 3 little Injections from 1 second. So don't know how much that is. But know after 2,5 weeks, i cant laugh like the way before, my mouth corner is down. When i smile also my nasolabial is different.now my question is, as for i know it will last for 4 months. Can it change my face permanently? Because know I'm moving my mouth different and my theory is: maybe because of the different moving for the next couple of 4 months it may can change the whole area permanent?

Thank you for your question. Botox is indicated for 3 month by the FDA.  There may be residual efects for months after the treatment, until the muscle returns to form, but the msucle recovers, just like an arm muscle after a cast is removed.   I hope this helps!

The effects of a single Botox treatment won't change your appearance permanently. You will look the same as you did before your treatment once the effects wear off.
