Hi. The active ingredients within Tumeric, curcumin oils, are a great antioxidant in their raw state, and likely will not compromise your Coolsculpting results. The rhizome of Ginger is very helpful for neurological/cognitive health and unlikely to negatively impact your Coolsculpting results. Most spices are replete with antioxidants, help maintain healthy blood sugar levels, joint & brain function, etc without demonstrated direct effect on fat metabolism--so for general good health, they should be included in your diet at a reasonable level (know that high doses of garlic & Vit E can cause blood thinning and increase bruising after procedures). Be sure to let your CS provider know the supplements that you are taking. Good luck!
Both ginger and turmeric are wonderful spices that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that promote good health. If you were planning to undergo surgery, I’d recommend cutting out the ginger because it has blood-thinning capabilities. However, that wouldn’t affect your CoolSculpting results. Be sure that your diet is healthy after CoolSculpting so that you’ll maintain a stable weight and keep your newly contoured curves for a lifetime. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to determine if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting to create your dream figure.
I am a big fan of Tumeric and Ginger for numerous reasons in particular antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. I have no problem with these spices and in fact would encourage you to eat them. I do however recommend against eating foods that cause inflammation such as processed foods, foods cooked in bad oils (vegetable oils, canola, etc), dairy made from cow's milk, high sugar foods, excessive alcohol, and some patients gluten.
There are no particular foods or spices that will directly influence the way your CoolSculpting results look or how fast they develop. Of course, eating a healthy diet in general is a great way to complement your results. A balanced diet and regular exercise program are the best things you can do to optimize your CoolSculpting treatments and maintain your results.
You have asked a question that is near and dear to my heart! Turmeric and ginger are great supplements to use on a daily basis for lots of reasons. They are both anti-inflammatory and probably help cellulite more than they help CoolSculpting results. . More importantly, they are very useful for health in general and have anti-cancer and antiaging benefits. Best wishes, Dr. Sawyer
In reality, nothing you eat is going to substantially enhance your CoolSculpting results. Dieting, exercising and being sure you are the right candidate for the procedure are the best things you can do. Make sure you see someone who is experienced in providing this treatment. Good luck.
Ingesting turmeric and ginger in a reasonable manner is unlikely to have any impact on the outcome of your CoolSculpting procedure. It is more important to avoid processed foods and to maintain a healthy lifestyle including a well balanced nutritional intake and daily exercise. Your body's response to your CoolSculpting procedure will likely be improved by avoiding smoking, and being well hydrated.
A healthy diet and exercise will influence the results of your Coolsculpting and not spices. Be certain not to gain weight and consult an expert in Coolsculpting for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Coolsculpting should be considered as just one component of a holistic diet and exercise plan. I'd be interested to read any papers suggesting that different food-types have an effect on the outcome. There are the occasional people who genuinely do not respond to Coolsculpting, but these people are very rare. To my knowledge, apart from maintaining a healthy diet, there are no foods which are contraindicated during the Coolsculpting period.
Great question Alex. I use Coolsculpting and Vanquish devices in my office and have found each device offers benefits and has limitations. Neither device is FDA approved to treat breast tissue in men or women. The use in this area is considered "off label." This does not mean...
Thank you for your question. This should not cause any issues. However, if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your treatment I would discuss it with your treating physician as they may be willing to work with you. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. It is not clear whether you had Coolscuplting or V-Shape as these are two different technologies. However, there are two possibilities of the effects you are experiencing. First, the remaining fat you have may have increased in size due to weight gain and second is a...
