I'm having double jaw surgery to correct overbite soon. I'll have the maxilla brought a bit fwd by preop braces and upper jaw surgery consisting of maxillary impaction. I'll also have BSSO and sliding genio. My concern is that my nose is already bulbous and very upturned - is upper jaw surgery going to make it even more so? Is there any way to prevent this from happening? If that does happen, would it be difficult to correct with a rhinoplasty? Thank you!
