I am 39 years old female and I have 5-year-old hyaluronic acid under-eye fillers which I want to get rid of. I am afraid of hyaluronidase so is there any alternative for dissolving this filler? I read somewhere that as a side effect of RF micro-needling treatment, hyaluronic acid dissolves. So can we use RF treatments to dissolve the filler? If so, will it cause the fat layer to melt as well? Thank you in advance!
Answer: There are other alternatives to reverse filler without using hyaluronidase Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Swelling Under Eyes After Filler (Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane) -- Hyaluronidase, ThermiSmooth, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra If you are worried about your filler results because there is swelling, lumps or bumps, always give it 2 weeks to settle and then consider reversing it with hyaluronidase. In the meantime after a recent injection, you can use redlight such as lightstim, radiofrequency such as exilis ultra and venus legacy. Given that the filler was placed 5 years ago, I recommend seeing an expert in cosmetic dermatology to assess the concern and consider treatment options, which depending on the nature of the condition may vary. Once you are evaluated, then we can then consider options which may include using lasers to penetrate deep turning over the skin to build new collagen. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Hylenex to dissolve filler In the right hands, hyaluronidase is a very safe treatment to dissolve away unwanted areas of filler. As the filler is under your eyes, I would visit an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for best results.

Answer: Hyaluronidase Hyaluronidase is a naturally occurring enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid, getting rid of the filler and reverting your appearance to its baseline state. If you are not satisfied you can always have it dissolved safely and easily with this. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

Answer: Dissolving a hyaluronic acid filler If you have a blue bag in the lower eyelid from hyaluronic acid fillers, you should definitely have a dissolved with hyaluronidase. I can understand your concern and fears involving hyaluronidase but if you go to someone who uses small quantities of hyaluronidase and prepares you for more than one treatment, you should have no fears. I have only had the opportunity to treat patients that come from other doctors and so-called practitioners to treat the same problem and I have done it rather well with a great deal of success and no complications. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
