Discolouration after cryotherapy, will it go away? Is there any way to fix this? I really just wanted the mole off (photo)

Thanks for your question and the photos - they are helpful.  So sorry your treatment did not turn out the way you wanted it to. People with beautiful pigmented skin tend to get hypopigmented scars from liquid nitrogen, and we are very, very careful not to use it on the face unless absolutely necessary.  It is possible the pigment will slowly recover with time, but your pigment cells, or melanocytes, are delicate and sometimes are permanently affected by the freezing.  For now, try and be patient and use a very good quality sunscreen all the time.  Maybe discuss with your dermatologist the possibility of using a mild retinoid on the face, which can sometimes even out pigment if you don't overdo it, but there's no guarantee that will help.  Best of luck!
