Question

If I could describe the shape of my chin using letters, it would be a "W" (a very wide / stretched out W). There is a gap in the center of my chin. I want a chin that is shaped like the letter "U". What are my permanent & semi-permanent options and approximate cost of it?

Often, this is a soft tissue dimple and not a dimple in the chin/ jaw. Because of this chin implants can be ineffective in removing the dimple. Fillers work very well. In my experience, Voluma works very nicely to fill in the dimple. Nice results can also be created with Radiesse. Fat Injections are the least invasive way to treat a cleft chin but its success is predicated on how well the fat will survive. An assured permanent option is to place a small implant intraorally over the bony chin cleft to push the area out.
